Italian outlet Calcio Mercato has a story about Suso, who’s been impressing in this start of the season for Milan.

With three goals and seven assists in 11 games, the Spaniard is starting to attract attention from other clubs, and that’s why the Rossoneri are already working on a new contract for him.

Calcio Mercato claims that Suso is currently the sixth best paid athlete in the squad, and has a €38m release clause which can be activated until June 15th. That’s why Milan want to give him a new deal as soon as possible.

And there’s a special club leading the race for him and worrying Milan, which would be Chelsea. The Blues are said to be following his performances, and Maurizio Sarri is a fan since his time at Napoli.

Calcio Mercato also claims that Suso’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, spoke to Marina Granovskaia about the player a couple of weeks ago.

There should be new talks between the two in the next few days, mostly to discuss his other client, Davide Zappacosta, but it’s claimed that ‘the idea’ of Suso to Chelsea ‘is alive’.
