Andreas Pereira Marca August 26thManchester United are likely to be involved in the final days of the transfer window, although the business will almost certainly be more focused on outgoings than incomings.

Jose Mourinho wants a compact squad and that means some youngsters will be better off going on loan.

Adnan Januzaj recently moved to Sunderland on loan, and it looks like a move which could work out for the youngster.

Sunderland manager David Moyes put faith in Januzaj at Old Trafford, and the Belgian attacker has already scored his first goal of the season at his new home.

Andreas Pereira would be the next exit, and the Brazilian youth player will be keen to give his career the kick-start it needs. Pereira missed out on Brazil’s victorious Olympic squad, almost certainly because he wasn’t getting the opportunity at Manchester United to impress.

The problem for Pereira was that when given a chance, he usually didn’t show enough to suggest he merited more.

Spanish newspaper Marca believe a move to Granada is very close, in a very brief article in their Friday edition. It’s hard to know if those claims follow on from British reports that a deal could have been completed yesterday, something which clearly didn’t happen.

The local Granada media don’t seem hugely excited by the prospect yet, although they covered the claims yesterday, but that’s likely to change once, and if, Pereira arrives.
