Manchester United are reportedly one of the competitors for the signing of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

Italian outlet La Nazione is the one saying La Viola have the risk of losing the 23-year-old soon, as a few European sides have set their eyes on him.

Besides Manchester United, the likes of AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in the Serbian player as well.

It’s said the Red Devils have ‘repeatedly’ approached his agent Fali Ramadami, wanting to know about Milenkovic’s wish to move to the Premier League, and their chase isn’t something new.

La Nazione writes that Fiorentina set a price of €25m for his sale, and aren’t really willing to back down, even with the pandemic crisis, as they managed to still get good fees in the summer. However, if a reasonable amount is put on the table, there’s the chance of an agreement.

Milenkovic’s contract with La Viola expires in 2022, and although there’s a strong will from the club to renew his deal, the risk of losing him for free could accelerate a sale.
