Manchester United are in the picture for Inter Milan’s Federico Dimarco, according to a report.

He has a goal and three assists from nine games this season while operating mainly as a left wing-back and at times as a centre-back.

Calciomercato.it state the 25-year-old has ended up in the sights of several top European clubs, including Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

It’s said the Serie A side would have to deal with courtships of other clubs for Dimarco in the upcoming windows.

Luis Enrique seems to be driving the Ligue 1 side’s pursuit as the report states the PSG manager has always been attentive of the Italy international.

Calciomercato.it say to keep an eye on Manchester United as they are looking for a player on the left side and Dimarco’s profile could be the ‘right one’ for Erik ten Hag’s side.

The player’s deal lasts until 2026 and the outlet says the Nerazzurri value him ‘no less than €50m’.

With Manchester United and PSG in the mix, Inter are trying to secure the Italian’s long-term future. The report states he currently earns €2m per year and Simone Inzaghi’s side want to double it with a new deal.

Erik ten Hag has Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Sergio Reguilón [on loan] for the left-back position. Taking this into account, this is a surprise claim and it feels like the Red Devils are dragged into the mix to help Dimarco get a better deal from Inter.
