RB Salzburg are not feeling the heat from transfer speculation regarding Karim Adeyemi, despite constant links to Liverpool and other big sides in Europe.
That’s according to his coach Matthias Jaissle, who has insisted the issue is a bigger topic in the media than it is at the club.
Adeyemi is one of the hottest talents in Europe at this moment in time, having impressed for Salzburg and broken onto the international scene with Germany.
Liverpool have regularly been named among his suitors, with a report today insisting they are one of the interested parties in him.
Whether they actually make a move remains to be seen, particularly given the strength they already have upfront with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota.
Regardless, the links to Adeyemi are only likely to increase in the coming months if he continues to impress, which looks likely to happen at this point.
His manager isn’t worried, though, insisting the topic is a far bigger issue in the media than it is at the club.
“Basically, I maintain a close exchange with my players, including Karim,” Kicker, who again mention Liverpool interest, report him saying.
“The topic is actually a bit hotter in the media than internally.
“Karim is completely focused on the task here, and I think he still has many steps ahead of him here that he can take. (He’s) on a good path.”
