Florin Andone’s loan at La Liga side Cádiz is definitely not working as expected.

Following a move from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, the striker couldn’t have a lot of playing time in Spain, with only a total of 89 minutes on the pitch so far.

Outlet El Desmarque today features a piece claiming there’s a clear lack of adaptation from him, as his attitude has even been bothering manager Alvaro Cervera.

Andone wasn’t even in the matchday squad for the match against Espanyol at the weekend, and that’s a clear sign that he’s not in the club’s plans.

That’s why Andone could end up leaving the La Liga club sooner than expected, as it’s already claimed that they may break the loan deal and he would ‘take the road back to Brighton’.

Cádiz even had a buying option over the striker, but that possibility is obviously not even coming into consideration at this stage. In case he really returns to the Seagulls in January, his contract with the club expires in the summer of 2023.
