Hull City were successful in avoiding relegation from the Championship after a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth last weekend. The point helped them finish 21st in the table, level on points with 22nd placed Luton Town, who dropped to the third division.

With the Tigers securing a stay in the Championship, they have been working on securing new signings for next season.

According to Africa Foot, FUS Rabat’s Yahya Benkhaleq is a target for the Hull City in the summer window.

The outlet has gathered information that the Moroccan club have reached a definitive agreement with Hull City for the 23-year-old’s permanent transfer.

The operation will cost the English club around €800,000 and Africa Foot further add the centre-back will sign a four-year contract at Hull City.

Benkhaleq started his playing career at Moroccan side Wydad Serghini, who then sold him to FUS Rabat in December 2022.

The defender set to join Hull City in the summer window struggled to feature regularly for FUS Rabat until October. Since then, his situation improved a lot and started to enjoy regular minutes at the club.

Benkhaleq made 46 appearances for his club so far.
