Manchester United, having now almost sorted out the Jadon Sancho transfer, continue to plan for the future, which is where Eduardo Camavinga comes in.

The young midfielder only has one year left on his contract at Rennes, and the undeniable talent is attracting a lot of attention from around Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain have been the strongest linked of late, but Manchester United certainly haven’t given up, with it reported by Mohamed Bouhafsi that the Red Devils would meet the player’s entourage in the coming days to convince the player to move to Old Trafford.

Whether said meeting has taken place hasn’t been reported, but one thing appears clearer by the day: Camavinga’s exit seems ‘inevitable’.

That’s according to Le Parisien, who report on Friday that the 18-year-old’s contract renewal talks have ‘come to a standstill’.

Despite this, Rennes ‘maintain they haven’t received an offer, neither from PSG nor another club’ despite the situation surrounding his deal.

Logic would be that a sale is on the cards this summer in order to avoid losing him on a free next summer, which could open a door for Manchester United to stick their foot in in the very near future.
