Following this week’s links between Liverpool and Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane, we now get to see reports saying the Reds are keen on another player from the Bundesliga side.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Jurgen Klopp’s side are also looking at the signing of Jamal Musiala.

The story claims the midfielder’s agents are not in talks to extend his contract with Bayern Munich, which runs until 2026, and that seems to be a sign of a potential exit from the club.

For now, there’s no information on how much Liverpool would be be prepared to spend, or even how much the German club would request for the move.

Musiala, who has been a crucial player in their midfield recently, is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €110m.

It’s just worth saying that when covering the claims on Sane today, we pointed out the rumours could be related to a potential new contract with Bayern Munich. Now as the story on Musiala directly mentions that his agents are not in talks for a new deal, it looks even convenient that he’s linked to another powerful club.

Liverpool seem to be being used as a tool to nudge Bayern right now.
