Earlier this month, we relayed news from Spain that it is ‘practically impossible’ for Alberto Moreno to sign a new contract at Liverpool.

The left-back’s current deal at Anfield runs down after the end of the season and another Spanish outlet, Estadio Deportivo, once again mentions the defender is ‘clear’ that he will not stay with the Reds beyond 2019.

It’s claimed the 26-year-old could have an opportunity to earn more if he decides to continue in the Premier League next campaign.

However, his ‘priority at this time’ is his family as he wants his kids to live and grow in a good place… where it’s not raining like it does in Liverpool.

Moreno’s first choice is to return to Sevilla, but it’s still not clear whether they are willing to re-sign their former player. His idea is to leave the club as a free agent so that he can demand more wages and a better joining bonus.

The report looks at the options available for him and mentions Atletico Madrid, who may be forced to find a replacement for Filipe Luis next summer.

Barcelona is also presented as another option for the Liverpool player and his former teammate and friend, Philippe Coutinho, would apparently prefer to see him at Camp Nou.
