Liverpool are one of a number of clubs interested in Barcelona’s Rafinha, report Mundo Deportivo on Friday. The Catalan newspaper say they’ve been informed several clubs are keen on the Brazilian, and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are named as one of those.

No ‘firm’ offer has yet been made by anyone for the Barcelona player, but it’s anticipated there could be movement ahead of or during the summer transfer window.

Rafinha has a contract with Barcelona until June 2020 and his buyout clause is €75m, a figure it’s pretty much certain no club will match. The 24 year old is versatile and can play as an attacking midfielder as well as on the right.

Therefore it would have to be assumed Liverpool interest isn’t very strong at the moment, although things may change with summer exits.

As for Rafinha himself, he’s said to be very happy where he is.
