Fanatik report Beşiktaş are interested in Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa. It’s understood Besiktas manager Senol Gunes wants to sign a new striker and he confirmed this after the game against Osmanlıspor:

”Please don’t ask me transfer questions. I told chairman Fikret Orman what I want. We’ll see what happens.”

The Argentine striker is currently providing a supporting role at Leicester City with Claudio Ranieri preferring the likes of Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki, Ahmed Musa and Islam Slimani. It’s been reported Ulloa has been offered to Besiktas and the Turkish side will now analyse the situation.

The club known as Kara Kartal have also been linked Marcelo Moreno, Jackson Martinez, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Newcastle United’s Alexander Mitrovic.

Ulloa was a key player for Nigel Pearson’s Leicester City after scoring 12 Premier League goals, following his move from Brighton. The striker then played an effective role when Leicester City won the Premier League last season, but in this campaign he’s struggled to get playing time.

Despite playing 19 games so far this season Ulloa has only started once for Leicester City in the league and subsequently could look to exit the club. He is currently under contract with Leicester until 2018.
