Since Leeds United began being linked with Emiliano Buendia, the 20 year old attacker turned midfielder has been in great form, and receiving praise for his efforts.

Spanish newspaper Marca have been sending praise the way of ‘Emi’ and rate his performances for Cultural Leonesa highly more often than not. Marca have already featured the Leeds United target in a team of the week so far this season, and it’ll be no surprise if further interest appears soon.

Born in Argentina, Buendia has dual Spanish nationality, which is of course very important for any Leeds United interest. There’d be no need to apply for a work permit.

On loan at Cultural from Getafe, there’s no suggestion the player’s parent club want to sell, so Leeds United may not find many advantages through their Cultural relationship.

Marca are praising Buendia again on Saturday, saying he was one of Cultural’s best players against Almeria, in a 0-0 draw. The Leeds target almost scored the winner, seeing an effort come back off the post.
