According to a claim in the Turkish media, Medipol Başakşehir are the latest Super Lig club to show an interest in Everton forward Cenk Tosun.

Throughout the last transfer window, the Everton player was linked with a return to Istanbul, and Medipol Başakşehir could again offer this chance in the new year.

Aksam have today reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Tosun after the attacker impressed whilst on international duty this week.

The 28 year old scored two goals in Turkey’s 4-0 victory over Moldova and the player has seen himself back in the Turkish headlines, this time for his performance and not with regards to a transfer away from Goodison Park.

It’s claimed if his situation doesn’t improve under Marco Silva then there’s a possibility Medipol Başakşehir could sign him. Tosun has yet to get any minutes in the Premier League this season and made a brief appearance in the League Cup last month.

In the summer the Turkey international was linked with moves to his former club Besiktas and their Istanbul rivals Galatasaray. There were claims of an offer from Gala, but Tosun didn’t want to sign for Besiktas’ arch-rivals.
