Leeds United have again be linked with a move for Bologna defender Filip Helander. Last month we covered reports from Italy the Championship side are interested in the Sweden international.
Corriere di Bologna have today speculated on the possible incomings and outgoings at Bologna this summer, and Helander is named as someone who could leave the Serie A club.
It’s been reported Leeds United are still tracking Helander, after being linked with the defender in June. The Italian newspaper says the Swede is being ‘sought after’ by the English club, and Bologna will sell for a ‘financially advantageous’ offer.
Last month it was claimed Leeds United were lining up a €6m bid for Helander, and considering partnering him with Pontus Jansson. The two central defenders both came through at Malmo, and played alongside each other for the Swedish club.
It would again be another statement of intent from Leeds United to sign Helander, following their activity in the transfer market this summer.
