TMW have published an exclusive claiming Nicolai Jorgensen to Newcastle United will be defined today, and that Feyenoord are trying to replace him with Graziano Pelle.

Formerly with Southampton, Pelle is currently playing for Shandong Luneng, and would have to be up for a move back to Dutch football if the reports are correct.

TuttoMercatoWeb have a habit of this, seeing big stories elsewhere, Jorgensen to Newcastle in this case, and then giving them a twist and launching it as an exclusive.

That said, their claims can’t be ruled out, with the Italian media having close connections to agents, and the Pelle link in this situation.

Pelle returning to the Eredivisie is something which has been mentioned in the Dutch media over recent days, so the link isn’t exactly brand new.

For now, Newcastle fans are probably better trusting Jorgensen updates from the Dutch and English media.

De Telegraaf this morning reported there’s a deadline of this evening for Lee Charnley to please Feyenoord with a fee… they’re likely bluffing, even if just a little.
