According to a claim in the Turkish media, Huddersfield Town could sell Florent Hadergjonaj to Fenerbahce and the Yellow Canaries are looking to use the influence of Vedat Muriqi to convince the player over the move.

Muriqi and the Huddersfield Town right back are said to be close friends from the Kosovo national team, and Star report, as covered by Sporx, Fenerbahce are hopeful of completing a deal for the 25 year old.

It’s reported the Turkish giants will make an official offer to Huddersfield Town to sign the defender and the Championship club could be open to the idea of selling him.

According to Star’s information, the Huddersfield Town man is eager to continue his career in Turkey as wants to play alongside Muriqi.

Hadergjonaj’s Terriers teammate Terence Kongolo has also been linked with a move to the Super Lig following claims Fener’s local rivals Galatasaray want him.

This season Hadergjonaj has made 11 appearances for Danny Cowley’s side and is under contract with the club until June 2021.
