According to Turkish newspaper Star, as covered by Sporx, Liverpool and Juventus will send scouts to Trabzon today to watch Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir in action against Galatasaray.

The Premier League side have been linked with the youngster in recent months, with claims they could come in for him next summer.

It’s reported that along with Liverpool and Juventus, two other unnamed major European clubs will also be present at the Akyazi Senol Gunes Stadium.

The Turkish international has been impressing with his performances this season and his form has led to speculation he could get a transfer in the near future.

The 23 year old has also linked with a move to German club RB Leipzig, and it’s reported the Trabzonspor board are expecting official offers for their prized asset during the January transfer window.

Cakir has made 18 appearances for Trabzonspor in all competitions this season, and is under contract with the Super Lig club until June 2024.
