Serie A side Lazio are reportedly interested in Manchester City player Enes Unal.

On loan at FC Twente until the end of the season, Unal has been impressing in the Dutch league, scoring 17 goals in 29 games so far.

According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, Lazio have been keeping an eye on the youngster for years, since he was at Bursaspor.

Manchester City signed the player for €3m in 2015, and since then have loaned him out to KRC Genk and NAC Breda before the current deal with Twente.

But with Unal’s good season, several sides are starting to show their interest and this is a reason why Manchester City would not be keen on loaning the 19-year-old anymore.

Il Mattino claims Lazio have a good relationship with City, but the club would still have to see if a deal to sign the player would be possible.

Described as the ‘new Cavani’, the striker has a contract with Pep Guardiola’s side until 2019.
