France’s FootMercato report that Mamadou Sakho is on his way to Crystal Palace.
Sakho impressed at the London club whilst on loan for the second half of the season and a return always seemed a possibility. Liverpool’s high asking price has been a hurdle for Palace and several other clubs, but the French claims are that a deal is now done.
Crystal Palace haven’t only had to persuade Liverpool, but also the French defender, and FootMercato explain that’s been done with lots of money.
Sakho has been handed a five year contract by the Premier League club, and it’s described as being the biggest in Crystal Palace’s history.

According to the same claims, Sakho has already passed a medical at Cyrstal Palace, so with everything agreed the next stage would be an announcement from both clubs that it’s all done.
By offering Sakho such a big contract, Crystal Palace are throwing some weight at the end of the window.
