Bari midfielder Andrea Lazzari has told the Italian media he would be interested in a move abroad after being asked if he would consider joining Leeds United. Lazzari played under Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino during his 3 seasons with Cagliari.

Speaking to TMW Radio, Lazzari was asked about his future, and whether he would consider a reunion with Cellino. The 31-year-old said he hasn’t heard anything from Leeds United with regards to a move to England, but to play in a different county is something which appeals to him.

“I have not heard from anyone, but I’d like to try an experience abroad,” said the Bari midfielder.

Lazzari started his career at Atalanta, and has gone on to play for several Serie A sides including Fiorentina, Udinese, Carpi and Cagliari.

Whilst under Cellino at Cagliari the player made nearly 100 appearances before getting his big move to Fiorentina. The midfielder has also represented Italy U21s on 9 occasions.
