Everton attacker Richarlison has scored his first Premier League goals of the season this weekend, as he hit a brace in the 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 22-year-old has spoken to ESPN Brasil after the game, showing a lot of discomfort for Everton’s previous results, and celebrating the win against Wolves.

“Very important win”, Richarlison told João Castelo Branco from ESPN Brasil. “The Wolves team come off a very good campaign last season. They are doing well in the Europa League too, and today was a very difficult game for us. We got the comeback at the very end.”

“And it was very good to get these three points to breathe a little too. Now there’s the international break. We came from a defeat in the Premier League and now we got a beautiful win. Now we focus on the national team and come back well.

Everton manager Marco Silva recently said Richarlison and Yerry Mina need to learn English so they can communicate with their teammates. The Brazilian was asked about it in the interview, and claimed that he’s trying hard, even though it hasn’t been any easy.

“I’m doing my best to learn this English soon. Of course I’m a tough head. But I’m trying as hard as possible. I’m studying pretty much every week. And let’s see. Let’s try to learn as much as possible. I’m learning. It’s hard, it’s a little hard, but it’s going.”

Richarlison is now leaving England and flying to the United States, where Brazil will be playing friendlies against Colombia and Peru. The Everton star has lost his place during the Copa America, so he needs to work hard to convince manager Tite that he still deserves a starting spot in the team.
