Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is close to joining Portuguese side Sporting, according to local reports this Monday.

Outlet A Bola is pretty sure that the 30-year-old is joining the Lions on a one-year loan spell, saying he’s ‘on his way’.

They’re the only website reporting the transfer with some certainty for now, although many local reports all say the player is a ‘possibility’ for the Portuguese side. On TV, TVI24 reported the negotiations for the transfer, but couldn’t confirm the move either.

Since the transfer window for Portuguese club is closing today, it shouldn’t take much longer until we know more about the transfer.

Signed from Crystal Palace on a €29m deal in 2016, Bolasie could now be leaving Everton on this third consecutive loan spell. Despite playing for the club for two seasons, he was sent to Aston Villa at the start of 2018/19, and in January moved to Anderlecht.

The 30-year-old’s contract with the Toffees runs until 2021.
