Everton and Nottingham Forest are both interested in Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo, according to reports from Brazil.

IG Esporte today features a story which is basically to claims that the talks to bring the player to Chelsea went cold, and the player’s transfer to Europe is back to ground zero.

It turns out they reveal some new clubs who are in this race for Moscardo, and Everton and Nottingham Forest are two of them.

The outlet claims that Toffees and the Tricky Trees already made approaches for the signing, even though there’s no information about bids so far.

Everton and Nottingham Forest just need to be aware of how hard it should be to sign the youngster. First because of his high price, as Corinthians are said to be demanding ‘at least €30m’, being €25m up front and €5m in bonuses.

The other issue is the competition for the transfer, because besides the interest from Premier League clubs, Barcelona are said to be in the race as well.

The player is protected by a €100m release clause, and Corinthians certainly feel safe by that.
