SDNA.Gr reports Greek club OFI are in the market for a head coach and are interested in bringing in PSV’s academy manager Ernest Faber. However, the Dutchman could join Phillip Cocu’s staff at Derby County.

After allowing Frank Lampard to negotiate with Chelsea, the Championship side are looking for his replacement and are very close to appointing the former Fenerbahce manager as his successor.

SDNA claims OFI are looking to offer Faber their top job but it’s believed he will be part of Cocu’s backroom staff at Derby County.

Faber had spells as a manager with Dutch clubs FC Groningen and NEC Nijmegen before joining PSV.

Yesterday, we covered claims from Holland that Twan Scheepers will be Cocu’s assistant at Derby County, as the former Netherlands international looks to bring in his own backroom staff.

Cocu has been out of the game since his disastrous reign as the Fenerbahce manager last season.
