As Denis Zakaria’s transfer from Juventus to Chelsea is now nearly completed, the Italian press brings more details about the move.

Outlet Tutto Mercato Web now comes up to talk about the formula agreed by the clubs. It’s said the player is moving to Stamford Bridge on a loan deal with the right of redemption set at €28m. During the spell, his salary will completely be paid by the Blues.

Following the agreement between Juventus and Chelsea, the player was already approved in the ‘first stage’ of his medicals.

Thomas Tuchel’s side really moved for Zakaria quite late in the transfer window, and that’s why Tutto Mercato Web speaks of his transfer as a ‘surprising last farewell’ for the Old Lady in the summer.

The midfielder had been of little use for Juventus this season. Despite starting in the season’s opening match against Sassuolo, he was on the bench for the following games, and only had a few minutes in the draw against Roma last weekend.

The Bianconeri will now certainly hope he can impress at Chelsea so the Blues trigger that buying option.
