The Italian media brings on Friday some positive updates on Manchester United’s pursuit of Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund.

One of the stories comes form journalist Alfredo Pedulla. He claims the contacts are in progress, and the ‘final bid’ will be delivered between Friday and Saturday.

According to the reporter, Manchester United’s attempt will be by placing a bid worth €70m plus €5m in bonuses.

Something similar is claimed by Sky Sport, with their report getting relayed by Football Italia.

They claim Manchester United are on the verge of signing Hojlund following a €70m + €5m offer.

That’s undoubtedly very similar to Pedulla’s report. On Sky, transfer expert Luca Cilli was the one claiming that the bid would be made in the coming hours.

Despite the competition from Paris Saint Germain, it’s said that the French side only offered €50m, and with Atalanta demanding between €70m and €80m, it seems only Manchester United are reaching the requests.

It’s even claimed that Hojlund has already spoken to Red Devils’ boss Erik ten Hag, so it seems the move is very advanced indeed.
