Earlier today, we covered a report from Italy claiming that Juventus were interested in Alejandro Garnacho, currently playing for Manchester United.

The young Argentine is enjoying himself with his country’s U20s at the moment in the 2022 Maurice Revello Tournament, which gives scouts plenty of opportunities to see talent first-hand.

The Manchester United forward has caught the eye of the Serie A giants, and it was said by Tuttosport that he’s one of the most followed profiles at the club.

The article also had quotes from intermediary Eugenio Ascari, who labeled Garnacho as ‘the most promising’ from the current Argentina crop.

Well, Ascari decided to have a sit down with Calciomercato.it as well, where he once again talked about Juventus and their interest in the Manchester United youngster.

He said: “Garnacho is a very promising footballer, born in 2004. He plays for Argentina even though he’s born in Madrid and grew up at Atlético Madrid. Then Manchester United picked him up, where he made some appearances in the first-team as well.

“He’s a winger that comes inside, but he’s already in a top club and it will not be easy to snatch him from Manchester United, even if there are interests from Italian teams. Juventus would like to pull off a coup à la Pogba when his contract expires.”

As things stand, the young forward is protected for another year, as his current deal at Old Trafford runs out in 2023.

It will now be up to Erik ten Hag and all the other staff members to decide what to do next, even if it all seems like a no-brainer.
