Tottenham Hotspur will have to find a new goalkeeper after Hugo Lloris stated his desire to leave the north London club in the summer.

Dinamo Zagreb stopper Dominik Livaković has been identified as one of the targets.

That’s according to Fichajes.net, who state the 28-year-old as an ‘attractive option’ for Tottenham.

Villarreal are also in the picture to sign the Croatian international and their interest isn’t surprising, considering his fine form for club and country [at the World Cup]. The La Liga side intend to secure his services in the next window.

However, the Yellow Submarine’s desire to land the stopper has now been ‘threatened’ by Spurs’ interest in him.

Tottenham will not play in Europe next season and this may give an advantage to Villarreal, who have qualified for the Europa League, in a potential battle for Livaković’s signature.

Over at El Periódico Mediterráneo, they have a short report stating that Villarreal are not the only club after the Croatian as Ange Postecoglou’s side are also showing interest in him to replace Lloris.
