Fotomac report Besiktas target Nikola Vlasic is on the agenda of a number of European clubs but the Turkish side are hoping to use his compatriot Domagoj Vida to see off the competition.

It’s claimed Besiktas are already in talks with Everton over a loan move for Vlasic and Fotomac say Vida is looking to convince the player over a move to Istanbul. The two have been teammates in the Croatia national squad for the past couple of years, although Vaslic hasn’t been a regular.

Besiktas are said to be in the market for an attacking midfielder this summer with Shinji Kagawa returning to his parent club Borussia Dortmund, and the Everton player has emerged as a target.

After an impressive season on loan with Russian side CSKA Moscow, Vlasic could still return to Goodison Park to play under Marco Silva, but the 21 year old wants to play regularly and feels that’s likelier elsewhere.

If Everton can’t guarantee him more game time, then he may consider another loan move for next season.
