According to a report in the Turkish media, Galatasaray have confirmed they are in talks to sign Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

The Senegal international has been linked with a return to his former club throughout the summer, following Stoke City’s relegation to the Championship last season.

Haberturk report Galatasaray have informed KAP (the Turkish stock market) that they are in negotiations to bring Ndiaye back to Istanbul.

There are also claims from Aksam that the Stoke City player will travel to Turkey to watch Galatasaray’s clash with Alanyaspor, ahead of signing for the club. The player will be loaned to the Super Lig club for the season.

There have been recent reports the Turkish champions have got an agreement with Stoke City and that the player has agreed personal terms. Yesterday it was claimed Ndiaye will now undergo a medical.

Ndiaye only signed for the English club in the January transfer window but is set for a return to Turkey.
