The Premier League’s deadline day may have come and gone but elsewhere in Europe transfers can still be completed until August 30th, and pressure is building for clubs who want to get business done.

It has to be considered likely that Sandro Ramirez will leave Everton before those deadlines pass. The Spanish striker hasn’t had a minute of football so far this season and it’s been made abundantly clear that Marco Silva isn’t counting on the player for the coming season.

Sandro went on loan to Sevilla for the second half of last season and despite talking himself up, and talking the prospect of a return to English football down, things didn’t go quite as planned.

Throughout this summer he’s been on the agenda of several Spanish clubs, but often seems to be a secondary option.

La Voz de Galicia report Sandro is ‘back on the agenda’ for Celta Vigo as they look to bring someone in before the window closes.

Celta were keen in the winter market, but didn’t put up much of a fight when Sandro went to Sevilla instead. The Spanish club would first need to sell someone, and the idea is Sandro would then fight with Maxi Gomez and Iago Aspas for the starting places upfront.

La Voz de Galicia don’t say whether it would be a loan or permanent move for the Everton outcast, but it’s likely Celta would first try and get Sandro on a deal until the end of the season.
