According to Greek newspaper Sportime, via Sdna, Olympiacos have identified Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny as a possible replacement for Mady Camara.

Camara has been linked with the likes of Sheffield United and Liverpool in the past few months, and Sportime report that if he leaves this summer, then Olympiacos will target Mohamed Elneny, who’s currently on loan at Besiktas.

The Egyptian midfielder has recently had some issues with the Besiktas board over unpaid wages and there were reports in the Turkish media his loan stay won’t be extended.

It’s reported the 27 year old is ‘quite high on the transfer wanted list’ of Erythrolefki as their manager Pedro Martins wants to bring a central midfielder if Camara leaves.

Elneny has made 30 appearances in all competitions for Besiktas this season and provided three assists.

His contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of June 2022, and it seems he needs to find a new club for next season, with it unlikely he has a future with the Gunners.
