There is a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce have set Leicester City a deadline to loan them Islam Slimani.

The Algerian international was yesterday linked with a move to the Istanbul club as Fenerbache look to bring in an experienced forward.

Tavkim today report on the latest developments over Fenerbahce’s pursuit of Slimani and it’s claimed they’ve given Leicester City a 48 hour deadline to accept their loan offer for the player.

It’s been well documented in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are looking to strengthen their attacking options due to the lack of choice manager Philip Cocu has at his disposal.

Fenerbache reportedly want Slimani at the club before tomorrow evening so they can prepare for their Champions League qualifier against Benfica next month.

Slimani signed for Leicester City from Sporting two seasons ago, but has struggled to hold down a place.
