Issahaku Fatawu’s loan spell at Leicester City today gets big attention from the Portuguese media.

As newspaper O Jogo writes about the Sporting players who are spending a year out, it’s the Ghanian player who gets the spotlight.

The reason is that Sporting are very hopeful that Fatawu will soon turn into one of their big sales of the summer market.

It’s pointed out that in case Leicester City get promotion to the Premier League, they’ll have to pay €17m for his permanent transfer.

O Jogo highlights that Fatawu is the Sporting loanee who’s been ‘shining the most’ this season, as he ‘didn’t take long to cause impact’ at the English club.

The winger has two goals and five assists in the Championship so far, becoming an important player for Enzo Maresca.

Sporting have many players loaned out this season, and Fatawu is the one standing out the most. They’ll be rooting for Leicester City’s promotion, and don’t seem to regret the deal they agreed with the Foxes back in the summer, as they’re already eyeing the ‘big profit’.
