According to an exclusive report from Fanatik, Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Cebi wants to re-sign Everton forward Cenk Tosun when the transfer window opens next month.

It’s reported Cebi will make a loan offer for the 28 year old as he looks to strengthen Besiktas’ squad in the new year.

Cebi was integral in Tosun’s departure from Besiktas to Everton two years ago, and Fanatik claim he now wants the Turkey international back with the Super Lig side.

The former Gaziantepspor striker could to leave Everton this January as he has yet to feature under Carlo Ancelotti. In the past two games the Italian coach has preferred the likes of Moise Kean and Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead instead.

Fellow Turkish club Fenerbahce are also said to be interested in the attacker, and it looks like if he leaves Everton there’s a good chance he could head back to Istanbul.

Tosun’s contract with the Toffees will expire at the end of June 2022.
