Dodi Lukebakio should bring a reasonable transfer fee in for Watford this summer, and those clubs interested in the player probably need to realise, quickly, that the Hornets won’t be letting him go on the cheap.
Overall he’s had an impressive season at Fortuna Düsseldorf, but there have been problems and his teammates and manager have spoken about issues which sound like a lack of maturity for the 21 year old.
That could be why Watford are considering a sale at all, with Javi Gracia perhaps not being completely convinced he wants Lukebakio in his squad for next season.
Over in Germany, Schalke interest is raised again, and Bild state the Bundesliga club ‘can’t raise’ the €20m Watford are demanding.
If Lille think they’ve got a chance at €10m, the German claims should quickly tell them otherwise.
