Furthermore, the fact the deal would have been a loan with a chance of a permanent move was taken into consideration, while a move for Jesper Karlsson at €15-20m could be a better long-term investment.
Therefore, any move for the Chelsea winger has now been put on hold, and our guess is only when other avenues have been exhausted could they return.
