Brazilian side São Paulo today announced the signing of Nahuel Bustos from Manchester City. In their official statement, they confirm the player is arriving on a loan deal until the summer of 2023, with the possibility of a renewal for six more months.

The Tricolor did not bring any details on their chances of buying the striker, but according to a report from journalist Jorge Nicola, there’s a deal with the Premier League side for that acquisition.

For that, the South American giants will need to spend £7m.

With Bustos’ arrival done, São Paulo now work on signing another Manchester City player, which is Nahuel Ferraresi.

According to the latest report from Globo Esporte, the Tricolor are currently in touch with the player to reach a financial agreement with him.

The deal with Manchester City is said to be already agreed, so the personal details are the only thing left for the transfer to be confirmed. For now, there’s no information whether São Paulo will have a buying option over the defender as well, although it’s known he’d also arrive on a loan.
