Two months ago, multiple reports coming out of Italy explained Arsenal are interested to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka.

It was also stated the Bundesliga side will not resist to sell the defender since his contract runs down in 2023.

Apart from Arsenal, AS Roma and a few other English clubs are said to have an interest in the 23-year-old.

Il Romanista claim the Frenchman is on top of the Serie A side chief, Tiago Pinto, wish list. He has no desire to sign a new deal and the Giallorossi thought of making an approach for him in the winter market.

The centre-back has informed José Mourinho’s side he plans to leave Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent next summer unless there is an immoral offer in January. It’s claimed this is not good news for Roma because of Arsenal’s interest.

In fact, the report claims Ndicka ‘has already reached an agreement’ with the Gunners to join them for free.

There have been no reports backing Il Romanista’s claim, however, meaning that if Arsenal have a deal in place with the player, this is likely to be backed up in England or Germany in the coming days.

For now, we would just wait a little bit before celebrating what could eventually be a great deal for the Gunners if they have indeed pulled it off.
