Chelsea have joined Paris Saint-Germain in the chase for Milan Škriniar this summer.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Ligue 1 winners made an offer to Inter Milan that includes a €50m fee plus one of their own players.

The Nerazzurri have not entertained this proposal as they only want cash for the centre-back, and are demanding an unrealistic €80m fee for him.

Škriniar is also of interest to the west London club, who are in talks with the Serie A side for Romelu Lukaku to return to the San Siro.

The striker has a great desire to join the Italian club and this has been confirmed by Inter CEO, Alessandro Antonello.

On Wednesday, the two clubs held discussions for the Belgium international. During these talks, Chelsea’s interest in Škriniar, Denzel Dumfries and Alessandro Bastoni emerged.

Potential deals involving the Inter players and Chelsea, if they were to take shape, will be separate to that of Lukaku. For now, it is ‘only an interest’ from Chelsea in the trio.

Sky Italia also state the Premier League side have shown interest in Škriniar and two of his teammates.

They add that ‘certainly for good relations existing’ between the two sides, the San Siro club’s leaders would ‘listen carefully’, if Chelsea were to make an offer for the Slovakian or the other two players.
