Just over a week ago, we covered quotes from Jorginho, who was asked about links sending his client to Juventus.

Seemingly tied to the hip to Maurizio Sarri, the Italy international followed the former Napoli manager to Stamford Bridge in the summer, and with rumours claiming the 60-year-old could end up being Max Allegri’s successor in Turin, the story wrote itself.

The player just answered ‘I don’t know’ to the question, either acting innocent or genuinely unaware of the speculation, but he did add he would be ‘surprised’ if he didn’t have his boss at Chelsea ‘anymore’.

Fast forward to Thursday, and it’s Jorginho’s agent’s turn to be asked about a potential move to Juventus for his client, as CalcioNapoli24 had him live on air on their radio show.

He replied: “Will Sarri stay at Chelsea? I don’t know. I don’t work with him. I only know he still has two years of contract with the club. Jorginho and him at Juventus? It would not be a strange thing, they are professionals and don’t have infinite contracts.

“At the moment, both have deals with Chelsea and there is nothing else going on, but if things change, we will see the interest of all parties involved”.

Jorginho played the full 90 minutes in the Blues’ impressive 4-1 victory over Arsenal in the Europa League final on Wednesday night, finishing off a very busy season that saw him feature 54 times in all competitions, scoring two goals along the way.
