With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being rarely used by Chelsea this year, it’s clear that he could be off from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

It turns out that according to reports from Catalan outlet Sport today, the player may actually make a drastic move to get his departure from the Blues.

The website writes that Aubameyang is ‘crazy’ to return to Barcelona, whom he left to join Chelsea last summer.

Sport claims that the striker will then push the Blues to ‘terminate his contract’ at the end of the season and then become free to sign for the La Liga giants.

We just need to wait and see if Barcelona will actually be keen on that signing, because they’re working on the arrival of Brazilian starlet Vitor Roque, who also competes for the centre-forward position.

It also remains to be confirmed whether Chelsea will just allow him to walk for free, since he has a contract with the club until 2024.

Featuring for the Blues this season, Aubameyang has three goals and one assist in 19 appearances, which isn’t the return they were hoping for in the slightest.
