Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to be a feature in the Catalan media, with the insistence the Chelsea player is desperate to return to the Camp Nou following his brief stay there after leaving Arsenal.

This story has been ongoing for over a month, and it’s become clear it’s the player who desires this move, over, say, Barcelona themselves pressing for the signing.

Friday’s edition of Sport reports Aubameyang is ready to make financial sacrifices so the transfer can happen, something which has been reported on an almost daily basis this month.

It’s then stated he wants to swap Chelsea for Barcelona ‘no matter what’ and is determined to make the move happen, prepared to force things.

Leaving the Blues at the end of the season is taken as a given, and it’s said the Premier League side are currently ‘looking for offers’.

Sport suggest Chelsea would rather send Aubameyang anywhere else other than Barcelona, so they can get some kind of fee.

As it stands, the Blaugrana don’t want to pay for the player, and one option would be the termination of his contract.

Another option is a loan, but again it would involve drastically reduced wages.
