In the past few days, the Italian media shared very different stories about the future of Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku.

Amid Inter Milan’s effort to hold him on a new loan, it was claimed he was open to a move to Saudi Arabia, and even AC Milan could end up joining the battle to sign him.

Now as Gazzetta Dello Sport shares a story on his future, they claim Lukaku actually has something very clear on his mind.

It’s said the Chelsea player wants to stay with Inter Milan. For this reason, he said no to a big offer from Saudi Arabia.

Their headline speaks about Lukaku turning down a €100m offer, but it was actually a little less than that.  Following the bid for him to have a year salary of €25m in a two-year contract, they now raised it to €30m and added one year, which totals €90m.

The striker, however, is said to be focused on staying in Europe at least until the 2026 World Cup. He reportedly has Inter Milan as his ‘only option’, and will continue to wait for Chelsea and the Nerazzurri to find a deal for his stay at the Serie A side.
