Frank Lampard has admitted Olivier Giroud could leave Chelsea in the winter market, and various claims were made about the striker on Sunday.

Telefoot first reported the France international is ‘ready to go’ to Inter, even if it means he would be their third-choice striker.

FcInterNews then explained the World Cup winner is the first-choice target for the Serie A side and his entourage has confirmed the 33-year-old’s desire is to join Antonio Conte’s side.

It’s claimed a few other ‘market situations must fit together’ for the Italian side to sign the player. This includes the Blues finding a replacement for the former Arsenal man, while the Nerazzurri should make room in their own squad for him.

There’s been rumours of Chelsea interest in Gabriel Barbosa, but FcInterNews states Inter haven’t received any offers from the Europa League winners for the Brazilian.

Inter, on the other hand, need to offload Matteo Politano as his exit would make space for Giroud at the San Siro.

Fiorentina are in the front row for Politano and his exit remains vital for the Chelsea player’s arrival in January. The report adds Politano is the ‘key to unlocking everything’.
