There’s almost one month left until the end of the European transfer window, and that’s been a nightmare for Flamengo.

The Brazilian side are keen on signing Gabriel Barbosa from Inter Milan on a permanent deal, but the striker keeps waiting for better offers before giving his final response.

The local media has been following the case, and a report from Globo’s Extra now says that Chelsea and West Ham United are two of the clubs who could bid for him.

They say it’s been ‘confirmed by Inter Milan’ that both London sides have made approaches for the player, who scored 43 goals for in his loan spell at Flamengo in 2019.

The Rio de Janeiro side had a verbal agreement with Inter Milan to pay €16m for 80% of the striker. But just like Gabigol, the Italian club will wait and see if something better will show up.

Without mentioning Chelsea or West Ham, journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira has some very similar information on his Youtube channel today. And he claims that if the striker takes too long to give Flamengo a response, then they will give up on the signing.
