Celtic have set their sights on Stal Mielec star Said Hamulić, according to a report from Italy.

Operating as a striker, he has scored nine goals and registered four assists from 17 league matches this season for the Polish side.

The 22-year-old has hit the ground running since he joined Said Hamulić in the summer transfer window and his fine displays have caught the attention of Celtic and a few Serie A sides.

That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who explain the Scottish club have their ‘eyes’ on the frontman.

TMW don’t provide details on the topflight Italian clubs that are looking at Hamulić. They also add that teams in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Scotland are also keeping tabs on the player.

Only Celtic are named in the report and it’s claimed Ange Postecoglou’s side are the ‘most active club’ at the moment in the chase for the Dutchman. TMW further explains Celtic are ‘very interested’ in signing the Stal Mielec star.

Hamulić signed a contract until 2024 and the Polish club retain an option to extend the deal by a further year.
