Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo has admitted he has always dreamed about being linked with the biggest clubs.

The Ecuadorian midfielder has been a key player for the Seagulls since returning from a loan deal at Beerschot in January of this year.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, particularly in the Premier League, where several of the top six sides are thought to be tracking his progress.

This summer alone he was linked with a move to Manchester United, while Chelsea were also considering a bid among their efforts to focus on youth moving forwards.

Liverpool have also been named as potential suitors amid their need to refresh their midfield in the near future.

For the time being he remains at Brighton, where he is likely to remain a regular and continue to develop.

He’s continued to insist that they remain his focus but now admits that he is flattered by talk of big clubs being interested in him.

“It’s very nice to know that there are many teams interested in me,” he told DIRECTV Ecuador.

“I’ve always dreamed of being named among the big clubs. I’m really very happy. I think my family has also heard something and they must be very happy.

“It’s very nice that I’m being mentioned by big teams, historic teams; but my head is focused on Brighton and just to keep playing, and also to leave Brighton at the top.”
