AS Roma’s Europa League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion is getting some big hype from the Italian media and Giallorossi fans.

Newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport today gives a lot of attention at the pace the tickets for the round-of-16’s first leg are being sold at.

The outlet points out there’s now a ‘Brighton fever’ among Roma fans, who already bought ‘over 35,000 tickets’ for the match.

Gazzetta points out that the enthusiasm for tis game is skyrocketing, with early signs that they’ll have a full house for the first clash.

It’s also said that Brighton will have 3425 tickets ‘reserved’ for them, with Seagulls’ fans expected to arrive in Rome at the start of next week.

The clubs will play the first leg in Rome on the 7th of March, with the decisive game taking place in England a week later, on the 14th.

While Brighton stand in 7th in the Premier League, Roma are coming from an average season in Serie A, currently standing in 6th and hopeful of getting a place for a European competition next season.
